          AG Adriano Goldschmidt Jeans or more popularly known today as AG Jeans is a premium denim brand for men and women that started in 2000. Founded by its namesake Adriano Goldschmidt an Italian denim enthusiast and Yul Ku, a denim manufacturer. Prior to his collaboration for the AG Jeans brand, Goldschmidt had initial dreams of becoming a competitive skier. This vision sent him to set up a sophisticated luxury resort in his home town in Italy early in the 70's. Wanting to cater to his affluent clientele at the resort, he started offering denim as a fashion item with his first brand King's Jean. During that time, denim became the uniform of the youth. Its ability to adapt and change is the perfect canvas of dreams. Discovering how denim and luxury can beautifully meld into one, he created his next brand called Daily Blue. From then on, the rest, as they say is history. Adriano became the genius behind other famous European denim brands like Diesel and Replay. Today in the denim circle, he is still known as the trailblazer who is the Godfather of Denim and originator of the Premium Denim category that is very much still a thriving industry. On the other hand, Yul Ku, a pioneer in the denim industry is the owner of one of the leading denim jeans producer in the US called Koos Manufacturing based in Los Angeles, California. His company is a renowned manufacturer in LA producing denim jeans for brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, The GAP, J. Crew to name a few. 

AG Jeans started out as a boutique brand that quickly became popular because if its premium quality and attention to detail. Being a collaboration of a design genius and expert technical knowledge in manufacturing, AG Jeans has everything it takes to become one of the most popular premium denim brand that offers a wide range of denim collection for men and women catering to denim enthusiasts from all over. AG Jeans offers a wide assortment of look that spans classic to modern vintage every season. As manufacturers, working within the industry's best brands has allowed them to be at the forefront of every fashion trend that emerges into the market. Multitudes of celebrities can be seen sporting their AG Jeans in and around town. Personalities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Anna Faris, Eva Longoria and Olivia Palermo to mention a few. Needless to say, their jeans are flying off the racks.

The partnership lasted a few years. In 2004, Adriano left the company to head Goldsign and join Citizens of Humanity while the AG Jeans brand continued to thrive under the direction of Yul Ku and his son Samuel, who joined his father in 2008 as the new Creative Director. Having him on board has kept the brand to always churn out fresh ideas and new techniques with the age old story that goes with owning a pair of authentic denim. Having mentioned in an interview that although they do keep up with trends, it will only make you one step behind the rest of the pack. Focusing instead on creating and reinventing the denim as a canvas has worked very well for the brand. It has kept them right on top of the tight race. And with that said, being ahead of the pack has its rewards. The AG Jeans brand continues to be one of the top Premium Fashion Denim in the market today.
